Wordsig
We are managing and helping fund a project allowing one to unilaterally prevent a deepfake of one's speech actions. The project's working name is “Wordsig”, and it was conceived in a culture-hacking mindset by Andrew Critch, a UC Berkeley Researcher concerned about digital security in the face of AI disruptions. Wordsig is a simple protocol that allows video participants to use a stream of QR codes to digitally sign the words they speak with a private key, and allows viewers to verify the consistency of these signatures across videos. This allows a trusted connection to be established between the viewer and participant that is not mediated by the content distributor.

Taxcount
Taxcount counts up your gains and losses for US tax purposes. It runs on an airgapped-network and helps Bitcoiners (both holders with wallet activity and bitcoin traders) fill out US IRS tax worksheet for 8949, 'Sales and other Dispositions of Capital Assets', for 1040 Schedule D, 'Capital Gains and Losses'. In general, when using Taxcount, your accounting job is to collect and offer the exports from your wallets and exchanges, then label any on-chain transactions that were spends or regular income (including mining). If, in the tax year of interest, you spent a UTXO that was not earned or purchased in that year, then Taxcount also has facilities for declaring its original basis. Providing comprehensive transaction tracking, Taxcount's basis tracking allows you to follow the purchase price of your bitcoin through any number of wallet transfers and exchange round-trips. There is no cloud dependency, so you are free to connect to local bitcoind or Eslpora. We are extremely persnickety about where divides occur in the codebase, applying precision decimal arithmetic to ensure accuracy. Taxcount uses FIFO binning on the exchanges, as required by the IRS, and UTXO-level binning for on-chain transactions to ensure maximum accuracy.Learn more about Taxcount on GitHub.

Wireguardium
Wireguardium is a Virtual Private Network (VPN) overlay utility for simultaneously managing multiple WireGuard connections. Using Rust in userspace, the overlay network creates an encrypted trust hierarchy which provides trusted yet potentially anonymous access to resources, including internal resources, other relays, and exit nodes. The utility manages DNS and uses network address translation to allow multiple private, potentially overlapping networks to be merged into a user-specified overlay network. The utility is the ultimate nomad utility, allowing the user to seamlessly and securely access resources on multiple private networks simultaneously.
