Jean-Pierre (JP) is the AI Pair Programmer, a command-line toolkit to support you in your daily work as a software programmer. Built to integrate into your existing workflow, JP provides a flexible and powerful pair-programming experience with LLMs. JP is a single-binary command-line tool to be used in automated workflows, from within your favorite editor or manually from your terminal. JP's extensibility allows you to attach contextual information to your queries, from file attachments to notes, command outputs, and more. You can choose to use existing MCP servers to enhance the LLM's capability, or use the embedded MCP server for workspace-specific tools. JP even lets you use any LLM model you want, hosted locally or by any cloud provider, including llama.cpp, Ollama, OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Deepseek, and more.
